Statewide Data

Foreclosure Dashboard

Every Ohio county tracks tax lien foreclosures differently — different courts, different case types, different record systems. We requested and compiled the same underlying data from all 88 counties so it can be compared side by side.

102,902+

tax lien foreclosure cases filed across Ohio's 88 counties, 2015–2025

About this data: Figures combine Treasurer-direct and third-party-investor judicial tax lien foreclosure filings, 2015–2025, compiled from public records requests to each county's Clerk of Courts and from county court dockets. Coverage varies: some counties' records do not reach back to 2015, a few requests are still pending, and one county declined ours outright — so the true statewide total is higher than shown here. Each county page notes exactly what is and isn't included for that county.
